Diwali or Dipawali is an Indian festival of lights and is the biggest and brightest celebration in India. Its one of the most awaited festival in India as this festival signifies the victory of light over darkness. We celebrate Diwali with lighting lots of Diyas inside or outside of our homes, making rangoli, exchanging gifts, We worship Goddess Lakshmi for good wealth and prosperity and then we feast with lots of sweets. This is what we all mostly do in Diwali and follow our family traditions.
Actually Its very special but what am I doing something NEW on this Diwali…here new doesn’t mean new dresses or new decor for home.. NEW meaning for me is, actually what I am going to do for the society or for the environment or for a needy, who is lacking the basic necessities of life.
As I said above Diwali signifies the victory of light over darkness so we light up diyas and candles at night and we can overcome the darkness. Is it true meaning of Diwali ? Or Can we overcome the darkness by helping others ?
For me now I am going to make this Diwali meaningful by lighting up some smiles on those faces who actually need a comfortable or normal life and I am sharing this post to you guys because I want you to be with me by sharing your experience that what you have done NEW on this Diwali.
Its my humble request to all of you to please share your experience with me on this page, what actually meaningful you are doing on this Diwali, Why not make it as a plan like we make plan for everything else… helping others or doing right is really a tough job?
